Working with Clarion CX Advisors

Choosing, implementing, or improving a contact center platform carries consequences that last for years. Clarion CX Advisors works with mid-market and enterprise organizations on vendor-neutral platform selection, CRM and CCaaS integration strategy, and AI roadmaps.

Services

Three areas of focus

Each draws on the frameworks published in the guides and applies them to a specific organization's requirements.

Vendor-neutral contact center selection

Requirements come from real operational need. The process produces a shortlist of three to five vendors, scripted demos with pass or fail criteria, operator references, and exit terms negotiated up front.

CRM-CCaaS integration strategy

Live demos confirm screen pop, automatic case creation, and bidirectional sync. Total cost of ownership and data readiness are assessed before a platform is chosen.

AI roadmap development

Problems are defined against a measurable baseline and data readiness is assessed. Investments are sequenced by ROI clarity and error tolerance, and human oversight is built in before anything scales.

Who it is for

Built for the people who own the decision

  • Operations leaders evaluating CCaaS platforms
  • IT leaders managing integrations
  • CX executives who need data to support investment decisions

Every engagement is vendor-neutral, with no vendor relationships, affiliate links, or sponsored content.

Method

How vendor selection works

The same five steps published in the guides.

  1. Document real requirements

List the interactions, channels, integrations, compliance constraints, and peak concurrency the operation actually has. Any requirement that does not trace to a real operational need gets cut.

  2. Build a shortlist of three to five vendors

More than five turns selection into a comparison exercise. The shortlist should reflect fit to the documented requirements and ignore brand recognition.

  3. Run scripted demos

Vendors give excellent feature demos and weaker ones when asked to run a specific scenario on the organization's own data. Scripted demos with observable pass or fail criteria expose gaps that feature demos hide.

  4. Reference-check the operators

Vendor-provided references are curated. References sourced independently, and conversations with the people who administer the platform day to day, give a more accurate picture of the platform in use.

  5. Negotiate the exit

Termination clauses, data portability, minimum commitments, and price protection over the contract term matter more than the first-year discount. In our experience, switching CCaaS platforms costs more than organizations expect.
